For the week prior to the arrival of first timers Chris and Scott , the fish had clearly gone off the feed but were still crashing over the margin spots . The arrival of a bit of rain and some cooler weather not only have a bit of colour to the grounds but turned the fish on from the off .

Fishing the margin spots the lads amassed 25 fish to 46+ with a few of the larger fish down in weight , only to be expected with the prolonged hot spell and the fact the stock had gone into spawning mode 5/6 times in a few weeks .
