Long drive down was worth it

Krystian and Leon arrived for their first visit ,

driving down from Preston , hoping to bank a new pb .

Both pbs broken during the week in scorching temperatures .

Krystian banking mirrors to 48 lb, commons to 38 1/2 plus both grass carp to 36 lb

Leon struggled for bites during the week even though fish were seen regularly over his baited spots . He managed the bigger grassie at 36, mirrors to 33, and commons to 24.

All in all a fantastic week for the lads on the coconut crème lake bait .

Goes to prove that fish can still be caught in temps closing in on 40 degrees .

Well done lads , baiting little and often and not changing your spots proved the winning method.
